How to start/stop DHCP client - Windows 7

 
 
 

Click "Administrative Tools."

Click "Services."                   

"Right click DHCP Client." From the popup menu you can select Stop, then Start. Or you can restart.

Go to the "Start" button and  
click "Control Panel."

Note: This example is for Windows 7
but you should be able to follow these
same steps for Vista and XP.
