Note: When renewing the IP address, make sure you do it from the C: directory or it may cause problems (see screenshot).
Release and Renew IP Address NT 4.0
If you need to release and renew the IP address when using NT4.0, simply issue a ipconfig /release command.
Renew the IP address with a ipconfig /renew command.
