NewsGroups Keep Reloading On Startup
If you download all the newsgroups in IE3.02, subscribe to a few, quit and when you come back into news, they reload everytime, you have a registry problem. Do as below and it will fix the problem.Go to the Start button.
Type regedit.
Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
Now Select Software.
Highlight Microsoft.
And select Internet Mail And News.
Now, choose News.
Select news.gte.net.Then, to the right, highlight Group List Dirty and Invoke On Startup.Go to Edit in the menu and select Delete. That should solve the problem.
