Go to news in the menu and select Options.
Now select Server in the menu as below.
Highlight news.gte.net by clicking on it once,then click on Properties.
If This server requires me to log on is blank, we have found the problem. Do as below.
Now, fill it out as it's done below, select OK and the newsgroups should be fine.
